Remembering Norm

In Memorium

Norma Carolyn (Duncan) Dew
Apr. 1, 1945 ~ Nov. 15, 2005

Alas, this caring, loving and giving soul
was taken from us
accidently, shockingly, and tragically.
Gone too soon,
much too soon.

Time to head back

How many did we catch?
You should've seen the ones that got away!

Barbara Louise (Bolsby) Moore

 MAY 13, 1943   ~    JUNE 21, 2010

The summer solstice will always be our reminder
of the passing of this woman whose strength, courage and grand spirit
were tested beyond what a mere mortal should bear.

CLH members at Newmarket Rotary

Carl Harrison addresses Newmarket Rotary
Crooked Little House member Carl Harrison made a presentation to the Rotary Club of Newmarket on Thursday evening, May 31, 2012.   His address was entitled Historical Truth and he deftly illustrated the difference between truth and perception throughout history.   Needless to say, the 40-year-veteran of history-teaching was in his element.   Carl was invited to speak to Newmarket Rotary by former Rotary Club presidents (and Crooked Little House alumni) Ted and Lynn Bird.   Carl's wife, JoAnne, and Barry and Linda Wallace (also CLH alumni) provided moral support for the guest speaker.   Well done Carl.   It was excellent material, very enlightening, and presented with style and humour.

Crooked Little House...spruced-up

Photos by Barry Wallace
That den of iniquity, known as the Crooked Little House, actually looked somewhat respectable with some new clapboard siding, a final coat of paint and its very own sign.
